Sweet Carley...she didn't have time for much of an e-mail this week because she sent about a dozen pictures each with a long caption for the photo. So, without further adieu, here's her update this week. Make sure you read her captions! They are pretty much her e-mail.
"Thank you [everyone] for the prayers offered in behalf of me, I feel their strength
as I go throughout the day. I don't know quite how to describe it but I
feel like the spirit lets me know who/where my source of spiritual power
derives from sometimes. It's like getting a second wind. In the
scriptures it says that His grace is sufficient after all we can do [
2 Nephi 25:23 - found in the Book of Mormon] I
know this to be true and it makes trusting the Lord so much easier
because I don't have to feel like I am ever on my own. But we also have
each other for sources of strength to propel us forward."

Poor unfortunate souls!!! They bit the dust. Could I please have another pair that look EXACTLY like these somehow? They were so perfect. |
|
My
'nother pair of shoes also broke....I feel like Dallas going through
shoes so quick! But I don't need another pair like these as much. I am
down to one pair of shoes-the wonderful black ones Auntie Barbara got
me. |

I may or may not LOVE this stuff. True story. (Courtney's note: I had to zoom in really close to see what she is holding...it's the Walmart Brand sugar-free Cherry Pomegranate water bottle drink mix...can you say "easy to please?") |
|
Me and Siostra H (Courtney's note: Yep, "siostra" not "sestra", I guess "siostra" means "sister" in Polish?) |

Oh, and if you want a real treat, Carley sang in the choir at
yesterday's broadcast, "The Work of Salvation"! I couldn't find her in
the sea of choir members and missionaries, (sheesh, there were a TON!),
but if you want to see just how many missionaries are in the Provo MTC,
click this
link and it'll take you to the broadcast (or just look at the
screen shot I took below).
